Op-Ed Columnist – A Less Than Honest Policy – NYTimes.com.

Even the left is worried about the taxes created under the Senate program.  The numbers are shocking, as usual.  Health care expenses will go up, despite what Ben Nelson says.

By the third year of the program, many of you will have a “Cadillac” plan.  You will have to pay a 40 percent tax or ratchet down your health care to an inferior program.  (This will effect households making 50-75K a year).  Ratcheting down your program means higher out of pocket expenses, not to mention your increased premiums.  Most will choose to degrade their policies which means the 150 billion this tax is projected to raise will evaporate, forcing more deficits.

It is criminal what this congress and administration are doing to us.
