Georgia Helps in Afghanistan

Following President Obama’s speech on our common mission in Afghanistan, NATO members and other countries pledged about 7,000 additional troops. My country committed just under 1,000, which makes Georgia the highest per-capita troop contributor to the war effort.

Georgia is sending more troops than many of our “allies” in NATO…. poor Georgia.  Now is not the time to be an ally of the United States with Barry Soetoro now president.  Our policy toward our allies equates to the back-stab.  In essence, we now undermine our allies while at the same time emboldening our enemies.  Georgia is backing a horse that will never leave the starting gate for them.

Still, Georgia is indeed a true friend to the United States and certainly strategically located in the Caucuses.  God Bless ’em for that!
