The Man Who Predicted the Depression

Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce to you the great economist Ludwig von Mises, resurrected this month on the pages of The Wall Street Journal.  Mises predicted the depression, and his protégé’s today predicted the housing collapse.  As we speak, not one single aspect that helped created this global recession has been addressed.  Instead, we’ve just added even more of the same garbage that has indeed created new lines of production that will once again collapse.  We’ve turned toward debt and creating money from out of thin air.

Below is a quick introduction to von Mises, who loathed socialism as do I.
