Fannie and Freddie

September 25, 2008 Leave a comment Go to comments

The Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005. Remember that, because that was the legislation that very well might have prevented the current meltdown of Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac

(FDM) but was obstructed by DEMOCRATS.

Democrats lie and lie and lie. They are corrupt, and they speak in bold defiance of any concept of truth. They blame Bush for the current crisis, a crisis they engineered and fought tooth and nail to obstruct when honest brokers in Washington wanted to fix the mess at FNM and FDM.

This corrupt party is trying somehow to pin the blame on McCain and Bush and the press enables them. The very idea is laughable. McCain cannot possibly know who provides funds to a support agency, but we do know full well who the corrupt Senators are: Dodd, Obama, and Clinton, in direct order of the amount of DIRECT money they received from FNM and FDM. In 2 years in the Senate, Obama moved up to the top 5 in recipients.

Much more disturbing is that Dodd, who served on the Banking Committee, took the lead role in preventing the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulator Reform Act of 2005. This is called C-O-R-R-U-P-T-I-O-N.

The folks who tried to fix the nonsense? None other than George Bush and John McCain. The legislation was the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 and it was an effort to curtail that outright malfeasance and corruption running rampant by Democrats running both institutions.

Senator Dodd’s efforts of the Banking Committee?  The legislation could not make it out of committee thanks to Democrat obstruction.

What the CEOs at Fannie and Freddie did was no different than what Ebbers did at Enron, “Cook the Books”… they cooked the books, scum like Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorellick, and OBAMA ADVISOR JAMES JOHNSON…who also had ties to Countrywide…
