Obama flip flop #…

I have stopped counting.  Now he has flipped on gay marriage.  His supporters, many of whom could not name a previous accomplishment of Obama, will give him a pass.  It all goes with the derangement syndrome.

Story.

Previously Obama was apposed to gay marriage and respected the rights of states to set conditions for marriage.  Now he says he apposes California’s (delegate rich California) attempt to ban gay marriage.  What is more troubling is he is willing to use the power of the federal government to end such efforts.

Scary.  Do people realize what he is saying?  The power of the state will dwindle under an Obama administration.

You say you’ve stopped counting..I’ve stopped counting with McCain too..he’s been back and forth on the smallest of issues as, whether or not the confederate flag should be state promoted. Voted against MLK day, and now it was a “mistake.” It’s all been documented…he even voted against his own immigration plan. Once opposed Bush’s tax plan, now is for it (which is scary)…I could go on and on, but these are no small issues. Point is, both of these men have enough flip flops to start a worldwide earthquake, but when it comes down to it, we’ve just got two men wanting to be the President. Plain and simple. I’m not saying be Pro McCain or Anti-Obama or vice versa, but let’s be mature about these things…either way, more than likely, one of these “flip-flops” is going to be the next President. Even George W has a long list of “flip flops.” You may know this and/or be completely disgusted by him, however, most of his critics didn’t quite make it to 8 years of Presidency as he did.

In my opinion, Obama’s flips are more frequent, go counter to earlier claimed core principles and represent an attitude that more government is the answer. That scares the shit out of me.

Being in government I can say with certainty that it works best when it gets out of the way of the people.
