Prosecution files answer to CAIR brief.


You may recall this post in which CAIR fought to get its name removed as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in terrorism funding.  The prosecution filed it’s answer to the brief today.

CT blog observers that the Government took apart CAIR’s arguments and drew a specific link between hamas and CAIR.

In the instant case, striking CAIR’s name from the attachment to the Trial Brief will not prevent its conspiratorial involvement with HLF, and others affiliated with Hamas, from becoming a matter of public record. That has already occurred as a consequence of the presentation of evidence at trial. (emphasis added)
